For most of us, “simple living” is a concept that seems to have been put together in a blender and then served with a side of ranch dressing. But there is an actual concept to simple living. We tend to think of simple living as being devoid of all luxury items. But, it also means a life that is not spent in excess. For instance, it means we are not buying cheap cars, houses, or clothes. It means we are not running on credit cards, and we are not working in jobs we don’t like for money we don’t need.
Many people are addicted to the fast-paced lifestyle in many of our modern cities, but the desire to escape from it is not unique to the “Millenials” or the “baby boomers.” The passion for a simpler, slower-paced lifestyle can resonate with anyone willing to slow down and make an effort to improve their life.

Today, we live in a world of instant gratification. Whether it is a cup of coffee, a cup of instant coffee, a cup of tea, or a cup of instant tea, we are constantly bombarded with the need for instant gratification. We may not always get it, but we want it, and we want it now. We have to keep up with the Joneses. One of the most important things about living a simple lifestyle is to understand your own needs. Everyone has their lifestyle, and you need to be comfortable with it and find the right balance. Everyone has heard of the 7 Habits. If you like to be organized and do daily chores, you should consider living a simple life. Sometimes, it is just too much to have complicated schedules. For example, if you have to pick up the kids from school every day, you will never find the time to do your errands. One of the advantages of simple living is to have no unnecessary expenses. After all, what is the point in owning a fancy car if you are always driving to the mall to look for a job? A simple life is also suitable for our health.

The more we have, the more we seem to want. In the U.S., that means a lot of stuff. It’s not uncommon to find ourselves accumulating more and more stuff, so much that we may suffer from a severe case of over-stuffing. I have never thought of simple living to lead to a more healthy and happy life. But it does. What I mean by “simply” is that I don’t have a T.V., a radio, a heater, a microwave, a fridge, a car, a computer, a phone, a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop, a printer, a decoration, a table, a chair, a lamp, a clock, a book, a stereo, and more.
Simple living is about making good choices for the planet, the body, and the soul. It’s about thinking and behaving in a way that’s kind of like acting like a tree in the forest. This practice extends beyond the choices we make in our day-to-day lives—it can also include the things we don’t buy. (In fact, it’s easy to start doing this now with the simple act of not buying stuff when you’re out in the store. I’m not sure why people stress out over money. I mean, sure, if you don’t live in the lap of luxury, you won’t be able to buy much, but you can make your own. I remember when I first purchased my first piece of furniture. I was so happy I could finally afford to buy something. Then I realized that I had a television. I was so proud that I could afford a tv for my going out room, but I had no room for a television. I was buying my furniture a T.V. every six months, but I was still broke.
You have to think about what is essential in life
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a professional hockey player. I spent hours practicing my slap shot in my backyard. I thought this was the key to success. I also trained for hours in the gym to build my strength. I practiced my shots on my Dad’s goal until one day I realized how much I missed him. I had forgotten all the important things: family, friends, school, and hockey. Have you ever thought about what is truly important in life? If you’re like most people, your answer is probably something like: “Having friends, a job, and a family.” These are all vital to being happy, but they don’t make you truly happy. A few years ago, a survey by the Pew Research Center found that about half of teens think that having a good relationship with their parents is the essential thing in life. Another recent survey, conducted by USA Today, found that 72 percent of teenagers believe that becoming a parent and having a family is one of the top three most important goals of their lives.
It’s easy to forget the small things in life. It’s only when something significant happens, such as a big trip or a hard time in school, that you genuinely appreciate what you have. It can be easy to forget the little things in life, but you’ll realize that they are everything if you stop and think about them.
You have to simplify and reevaluate your life
Simple living is a famous goal for many. But in light of our constantly busy lives and distractions, it can be easy to get side-tracked and lose sight of what’s essential. It can be easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forget to slow down and enjoy the simple things. Simple living is a new year’s resolution many people make, but is it the key to a happier and healthier life? In life, we are constantly confronted with a multitude of decisions and choices to make. No matter what career path we choose, we all have to figure out how to make the best (or the least-terrible) of our situation. When I was at school, I found it easy to make a “simple living” out of the things I liked to do. My degree was in economics, so I ended up transitioning to a career in investment banking. The typical “makeover” ad shows a woman in a tight red dress, with a short skirt and heels, standing in front of a mirror. Her makeover is complete with a new hairstyle, makeup, and a sexy dress. The tagline for the makeover product is “Don’t you just wish you could look like this?”. It’s the same thing with all of these super-expensive, materialistic products that are being sold to us. We are told that they will change our lives – that we will be as beautiful and desirable as the woman in the ads.
Think about what you need and what you want
If you were to ask a friend what they are looking for in a relationship, what would they say? Would they tell “someone who knows me inside and out” or “someone who gets me”? If so, they’re probably in a relationship. But what about you? What are you looking for in a partner? Are you looking for someone who will see you for your flaws and the flaws you see in yourself? Are you looking for someone who will complement you? Or are you looking for someone who is just like you? We all have needs and wants, but what happens when you look at these two things as opposites? Do you think you have too many wants and not enough needs? Or does it the other way around? If you feel you have many demands and not enough desires, you need to start taking an inventory of your life. List all the things you do and don’t have enough of. How about all the things you do have that you want more of? If you’re not sure if you have too many wants or too many needs, start by taking inventory.
Make a list of things you need to do
Some of us have been there: we want to get out and get going on things to do in life, but we always get so busy that we lose sight of what needs to be done. To cope with the busyness of the modern age, it is vital to maintain a simple lifestyle and reduce our stress levels. This is how you can start making a list of things you need to do to keep your simple lifestyle. If you’re anything like me, you have a stack of things to do but no idea where to start. Or, maybe you need to remember to do something important, but can’t remember what.
We all want to start new things now and then, but we all get stuck. We create a project but never finish it. We start a new job but have to leave it a few months later. We want to read a book but don’t know where to start. We want to exercise but don’t know what to do. Lists are often used to help us keep track of the things we need to do. We might possess a to-do list in the kitchen or fridge to remind us of things we need to do. We might write a shopping list on the back of an envelope. We might keep a weekly list of things we need to remember to do. When you have an essential task that needs to get done, you need to have a schedule that takes care of it. If you’re going to the store for food, make a list of what you’ll need. If you’re going to the gym for a workout, list the equipment and clothes you’ll need. If you’re going to the doctor for a checkup, make a list of all the things you need to bring. Even if you’re hanging out at home, it’s a great idea to put together a list of things you need to do.

Life is too short to live it not being happy is a thought that I have had for a while now, and I want to share my thoughts with you about it. I believe that you are born to live a whole life filled with joy and happiness. You do not have to be miserable all of your life, and you should strive to be happy with all of the things you have. Life is too short to live it not being satisfied. You will smile at some point, laugh, cry, get mad, and feel good. Those moments are what you remember. The only life I’ve ever known is the one I’ve lived. I’ve been through some epic times and some of the worst moments in my life, but I realize that I wouldn’t change a thing as I look back at them. I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world, develop a career in a field I love, fall in love, and meet some incredible people. Life is too short to live it not being happy. That is our mantra. Life is too short to worry about how you are going to pay the bills. Life is too short to spend time feeling stressed, or annoyed, or unhappy. Life is too short to get caught up in the things that don’t matter.
